How long have you been with Arnold? 12 years
What do you like about working for Arnold Machinery Company? I have enjoyed all the different jobs I have learned here at Arnold. Also, all the people I have had the opportunity to work with.
Are you married? Any children? Pets? Recently divorced, dating a nice gentleman. Have my wonderful miracle son, Jacob. He is three years and my whole world. We have a 14-year-old Shih Tzu Poodle, Baby Girl, and a Beta fish, George.
If you could turn any activity into an Olympic sport, what would you have a good chance at winning medal for? Organizing. I have excellent organization skills.
What hobby would you get into if time and money weren’t an issue? I used to read. I would love to get back into reading. My son and I read every night at bedtime.
What is your current dream vacation? I would love my whole family to go to Disneyland for a week. Mom, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews. See everything. Ride all the rides.
What fictional place would you most like to go? I would like to visit the Hundred Acre Woods. Pooh Bear was my favorite growing up.
What are some small things that make your day better? My sons smile, his laughter, and when he gives me random hugs. I melt every time.
He’s definitely a cutie pie!
What is something that is considered a luxury, but you don’t think you could live without? Slurpees, Icee’s, Snow Cones. Almost a weekly obsession.
If you could be any animal for a day, what would you be and why? A house cat. Lay around all day, being lazy, waiting for my human to give me unconditional luvs.
If you could have a super power, what would it be? Either to fly or teleport. Get where I want to be, fast.
Who is the one person you would love to sit down and have dinner with, dead or alive? My dad. I didn’t grow up with him in my life. I took care of him in his later years. I would to record and hear more stories of his life growing up in Berlin, Germany during the war.
Did you know that Fran’s dad was one of the kids who got candy from a Candy Bomber during WWII? Pretty cool!
Thanks for your candid answers, Fran! We loved getting to know you better.
